You will find the answers to most questions here. However, if there isn’t an answer for your question feel free to contact us. We will be more than happy to answer your question.
What safety precautions are in place following the Coronavirus Pandemic?
The therapist will sanitise all surfaces that you will come into contact with. Wearing of a mask is purely personal preference. Further to this, the therapist will use fresh towels for every client, a paper towel will be put down on the bed and changed for every client and the bed will be thoroughly wiped down with antibacterial wipes. What we do ask is that if you have any COVID-19 symptoms prior to your appointment, you should contact jason@cardysportsclinic.co.uk with at least 24-hours notice to cancel.
How do I pay?
We accept cash or card payments. We take all card types and Apple Pay, with card payments the preferred method.
What do I need to wear for my initial assessment?
Please wear shorts and a loose fitting t-shirt or a sports shirt. This will make the treatments that we decide to use easier to perform to the high level we aim for.
Is there parking available?
Yes parking is available in the car park, if you have any issues feel free to contact us.
How much notice is required, should I need to cancel my appointment?
Please give us a minimum of 24 hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment, otherwise you may still be charged for the session. We know that life can change quickly, so if something happens, just let us know, we are very understanding.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you can’t make your appointment for whatever reason, please let us know. However, if you cancel your appointment with less than 8 hours notice you will be sent a link for payment for your session. This is due to the fact that we haven’t been given sufficient time to fill the session. You will be charged for 100% of the cost of the session. However, if you give us more than 8 hours notice, you will only be charged 50% of the session price.
Will I get the full appointment time, even if I am late?
Due to other bookings the length of appointment you book is the time you get. To prevent over-running into other clients appointments there will be no time added on to your session.
Will I need further treatments, once I have recovered?
This is very dependent on the injury sustained and also what activities you are doing. Some people prefer to have a regular session as body maintenance and to make sure they’re feeling physically able. This is all very dependent on the individual.
How many treatments will I need?
This is hard to say a general amount until you have been assessed. We will guide you after the initial assessment on the amount of treatments we think you will need initially, but it will also depend on how your body reacts to the treatment. We will also give guidance on exercises to help you stay injury free and ways in which you can speed up the recovery process.
If I pay for the 4 session package, how do I book the subsequent appointments?
You can decide how you want to do this; you can either do this all in one go or you can book it as and when you require a treatment.
